Zeynep Sakaoğlu's work focuses on bioinformatic data analysis, the clinical interpretation of genomic profiles, and computational biology applications for personalized treatment processes. The core motivation behind this work is to strengthen the scientific foundation of patient-specific treatment strategies by integrating bioinformatic analysis tools into clinical oncology practice.

International research experience on antibiotic resistance mechanisms and a laboratory background in clinical genetic diagnostics bring an interdisciplinary perspective to personalized oncology work, where molecular data must be interpreted with great care. Accordingly, findings produced by R- and Python-based analysis pipelines are incorporated into clinical decision support processes. International research collaborations and academic publication activity help carry current scientific developments into clinical practice.
